About Me
Hi, I’m Lee, a native speaker of American English and certified ESL teacher. I give fun, affordable, and personalized online English lessons to people all over the world.
I live in Lawrence, KS, in the Midwestern United States. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2005, with a degree in American Cultural Studies, and I taught and tutored language, art, and math for six years before getting my TESOL certificate from Greystone College in Vancouver, Canada in 2014. I’ve been an online teacher ever since. To me, the best part of teaching is getting to know students from across the world and finding creative ways to teach and learn. I like to spend time with arts, cooking, games, Mandarin, science fiction and mysteries, exercise and healthy living.
About Lessons
I provide intensive, personalized online English lessons to students of intermediate English skills and above. I work with you to develop a course of lessons that meets your individual needs and helps you achieve your goals, whether you want to develop your skills in conversation, practice reading and writing, or study for a test. I use a variety of media, including audio, video, and writing, and make lessons relevant to you by building lesson plans around your interests.
